Marie Curie Hospice, Glasgow provides expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families.

Story

Iron Skull Gym is our way of giving back to the community and showing everyone that physical transformation is not only possible, but attainable.

Every member will try to do 10k kettlebell swings challenge in 5 weeks. We will do 500 kettlebells swings per day 4 times a week over 5 weeks. This amount of swings are very challenging and not easy to do. As a team we want do minimum of 100k kettlebells swings and by doing so we will challenge our self, have fun and rise money for a good cause.

The Marie Curie Glasgow Hospice supports people living with a terminal illness and those closest to them to live as well as possible.

The Hospice is often very different from what people expect it is a warm, friendly space with beautiful gardens, delicious home-cooked food and personalised care. Every person is treated as an individual and helped to reach their goals and fulfil their wishes. A team of nurses, doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, chaplains, bereavement counsellors and pharmacists work together, putting every person at the centre of their care.

Throughout Covid-19 Glasgow Hospice teams have been working around the clock to continue supporting local people. Death, dying and bereavement is at the forefront of peoples minds and Marie Curie knows what a difference the right care at the end of life can make.

They cant do any of this without your support. Thank you for your generous donation which supports the Glasgow Hospice and Marie Curie across the UK.
