Integrative Healthcare Solutions (IHS) is a 501 (c) non-profit organization who's mission is bringing holistic healing and prevention strategies to people struggling with substance use disorder and mental health to Rhode Island’s diverse communities.

At IHS, we unite both sides of healthcare to help people get to the root cause of their condition and bring healing to people in need. We provide holistic treatment with access to education, services, inspiration, and support which empowers people to get well, be well, and stay well. We envision an inclusive healthcare system that bridges traditional and holistic medicine together to prevent disease, to support people on the journey of recovery, and to build mentally, physically, and spiritually healthy communities.

As parents ourselves, we can't imagine what it would be like to have a child with a life-threatening and rare disease and the additional daily stress it would bring to the entire family unit. Life is stressful enough and we want to support these families in need by participating in the 20th Anniversary Polar Plunge Event!

This year, we have formed a team to take the cold plunge to support A Wish Come True. On New Year's Day, it will be their 20th year of hosting the Polar Plunge at 1st Beach in Newport. With over 5000 people coming to the beach, this is the largest Plunge in Rhode Island and Massachusetts! It's our goal to help a dream come true for two children with life-threatening illnesses who want to go to Disney with their families. This trip is more than a vacation. It's a time for two families to rest, recharge, have fun and build memories that desperately need it!
