Across the month of October, we're getting together as a team to raise money for Around the World in 80 Raves, In Place of War's collaborative sponsored activity challenge - to collectively cover the 7,200 mile / 11,600km distance across some of the 26 countries where In Place of War has projects in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

As well as individually making up our miles with a mix of running, walking, cycling and swimming throughout the month, on Saturday 9th October the In Place of War team will be taking part in a 24-hour DANCEATHON! From midnight to midnight, we'll be passing the baton between us as we dance all day... there won't be a moment where one of our team isn't dancing!

To celebrate the efforts of all the fundraisers being sponsored, In Place of War have partnered with DJs from all over the world, with streamed raves taking place across the month for everyone to watch.

The money raised collectively will go towards supporting music developments in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Lavender Hill, South Africa. These projects here provide a safe space and offer opportunities away from gangs and towards a more positive future.
