Story
We are taking on the challenge of Mind's 56 miles in February in memory of our best friend, Aaron Carey.
Aaron tragically took his own life in September 2024 and we want to raise money for this charity in support of all of those who may be facing a similar battle to what Aaron was. Aaron was the most supportive friend anyone could have, who put everyone else before himself and made it his mission to make everyone happy. So, doing this in memory of him is the least we can do to show much he meant to us.
If anyone knows us, exercise is not our favourite thing, but as this has effected us personally on many levels, we want to take time to talk and walk together. Not only is this to raise money, but more so to raise awareness of how important it is to speak out and be there for others who need it.
We have joined our fundraisers together and you can choose to donate to either one of us, but we hope to raise £100 each. Any donations, no matter how small are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the love and support,
T and Hol x
Now more than ever, people struggling from mental health problems need our support. In the UK, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem this year. Mind needs your help so that they can be there for anyone who needs them, on the phone, in local communities and campaigning for change.
Please support my 56 miles challenge by donating to my fundraiser. You donation will help to make sure that information and support is available for everyone - on Mind's website, the helplines they run and through their online community, Side by Side.
Thank you.
