The greatest marathon in the world. For the last 85 years, Diabetes UK has been at the forefront of diabetes research. We've discovered how to put type 2 diabetes into remission and were working day in, day out to find a cure.

Story

Welcome to our London Marathon 2024 profile page for Diabetes UK.

I’m not sure either of us really know what’s in store for us but join us as we lace up and run 26.2 miles for a cause that's very close to our hearts.

We chose to raise funds for Diabetes UK because my sister (dads daughter) was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 8 years old. That was 23 years ago and we have watched her learn to live with this often complex disease.

We have set a target amount of £4,200 for this campaign. Every pound brings us closer to our goal and makes a real impact on the 4.9 million people living with diabetes in the UK. Your donation will fund vital research projects, provide support services, and help raise awareness about this chronic condition.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of millions. Join us on this journey towards better health and brighter futures by hitting the donate button on our profile page today. Thankyou!
