The Wisdom Hospice has reached the mammoth milestone of it's 40th anniversary.

To mark this massive achievement we have taken up the challenge to complete the following….

A 289ft abseil off the iconic Lloyds of London building in London’s financial district.

Also built in the 80’s and one of the most recognisable pieces of architecture. The building was built as the headquarters of Lloyd's of London, one of the world's largest insurance firms.

The internationally renowned Lloyd's building was designed by the architect Richard Rogers and took eight years to build. Also just like the hospice it was opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 1986.
