Welsh 3000s sub-24hr Challenge
The Snowdon Massif | The Glyderau | The Carneddau
The Welsh 3000s sub-24hr challenge involves climbing the 15 mountains in Wales that have a height of 3,000ft (914.4m) or more in 24 hours or less. The total journey is 56km with nearly 4,200m of ascent.
I am undertaking this formidable challenge on 29 May 2021 in order to raise much needed funding for two fantastic local charities; Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity (SWCC) and East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH).
Please click on my 1st link to donate to SWCC or the 2nd link to donate to EACH.
SWCC was founded in 2011 and opened its doors to the SWCC Hedgehog Hospital a year later. To date, SWCC has cared for over 4,500 hedgehogs, employs a dedicated team of staff, and has trained hundreds of volunteers. This work costs up to £40,000 a year, so without support SWCC could not keep the doors to this essential facility open. Additionally the charity supports conservation projects worldwide saving the lives of endangered species such as tigers, lemurs and red panda.
EACH supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Thank you for your support with this challenge.
