Event: Moonlight Walk 2023, on 17 June 2023
Our much-loved Moonlight Walk returns this June 17th at Chichester College. We will be sending all walkers off in one big wave at 8pm, after a warm-up, to walk the route around Chichester.

Story

Every day of the year St Wilfrid's Hospice helps a patient get expert medical and emotional care through a terminal illness. Here is Martins story....

Sadly Emma's fiance Martin passed away on 2nd March this year! Martin had battled with tongue cancer since September 2020. He underwent intense radio and chemotherapy which eventually gave him the "all clear". But then in May 2022 he unfortunately received the news that the cancer was back and had spread to his spine, there wasn't anything more the doctors could do other than make Martin as comfortable and pain free as possible. Martin was so strong throughout his illness and never complained, he kept smiling as well as making others smile. He spent his last days in St Wilfrids Hospice where he thought he was a king as the staff were so lovely and waited on him hand and foot. The staff made Martin so comfortable and gave him an Emma the privacy to be together whilst he took his last breaths.

This is a fantastic cause and every penny really does help.

Thank you all
