Team Blackadders are supporting Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) who offer full family support for babies, children and young people with life-threatening conditions.

We chose to support CHAS this year due to the special connection with the nephew of one of our walkers (Calum) who suffered a brain injury at birth and was left severely disabled. Calum's family were supported by Rachel House, the CHAS hospice in Kinross and were offered assistance through home visits.

Sadly, Calum passed away at the age of 6. When he died Rachel House and the CHAS team were there every step of the way, helping his family process what had happened and allowing them to still be together as a family for as long as they could, even helping with the funeral. The Chaplain was extremely kind, and CHAS continues to support them now 6 years later.

We have two teams completing the Kilt Walk in Dundee. Harry Potter and the Half Blood SPRINTS and Blackadders' Barbies.
