Story
Harry Joseph Pickett❤️
My precious little boy faced a life-threatening medical emergency at just 2 days old. Rushed to Alder Hey Children Hospital, the doctors diagnosed a twisted bowel and performed emergency surgery. The uncertainty of his condition was completely overwhelming, but thanks to the skilled surgeons, all of his bowel was saved. After a challenging week in the hospital, with the unwavering support of the dedicated staff, our little fighter made a remarkable recovery and was able to come home.
Today, he is not only healthy but the happiest little boy. I will forever be grateful to all the staff on ward 1C who saved his life❤️
Myself, my mum Debbie and my brother Dan will be participating in the Snowdon by Night trek on August 11th, 2024 to support Alder Hey Children's Charity. Our personal goal is to raise £500 eventhough this amazing charity deserves so much more (and more than we would ever be able to raise).
Join us in making a difference for children like mine who depend on the exceptional care provided by Alder Hey.
