A major earthquake of magnitude 7.8 struck central Türkiye and northwest Syria and Lebanon at 4am on the 7/02. Thousands have been killed and many more injured in collapsed residential buildings. Islamic Relief teams are responding on the ground now.

Story

I am climbing Snowdon in Winter and raising emergency funds for the people of Türkiye and Syria following the devastating earthquakes on February, 7th.

The devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake which devastated Türkiye and was felt in Syria and Lebanon resulted in:

More than 2,600 deaths as of this morning
5,383+ injured
2,818 buildings collapsed

£50 can provide vital medical supplies to hospitals in Turkey

£80 can provide an emergency cash grant for a family to purchase essentials

£168 can provide two families with shelter in an emergency
