We are taking part in the inaugural Liv for Daniel event this May to raise awareness of childhood cancer, specifically the massive underfunding of research into DIPG brain tumours and Childhood Leukaemia.

Only 2% of all cancer research funding in the UK is spent on research fully dedicated towards childhood cancer research. This is wholly unacceptable and must change!

WHY?

- 13 kids will be diagnosed with a form of Childhood Cancer today in the UK, and tomorrow and the next day and the next! Childhood cancer is NOT RARE!
- Around 4,500 children & young adults in the UK are given the devastating news that they have a form of Childhood Cancer.
- Childhood cancers are very different to cancers that occur in adults, hence the need for dedicated research.
