Story
As some of you may know, my niece, Florence, was born with Pulmonary Hypertension (PH). This puts a lot of pressure on her heart and lungs and has meant that she’s spent the majority of her life at GOSH under the PH Team.
In October I’m walking 150km to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Not only am I doing this month-long challenge, but I’m going to extend it by an extra day to coincide with National Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) Day UK (1st Nov) and take part in the Walk UNITED campaign (see my other page to donate to the PH Association).
With two children under two and the great British weather to contend with, this won’t be easy! But I’m sure that your donations will keep me going as I push that double buggy up the hills of Woodthorpe.
Both charities mean such a lot to our family and bring hope for Florence’s future. If you can afford to donate, please do, but I understand that times are tough and so sharing my pages and spreading the word would be just as appreciated.
