Story
Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic and national lockdown, the country is required to stay at home, remain safe inside and only venture out for key work or essential shopping. However, staying home is not safe for those suffering domestic violence. Instead, being quarantined is being trapped with abusers during a time of heightened uncertainty and anxiety which has already caused domestic abuse cases to increase across the world.
We want to raise awareness of this prevalent issue and support the phenomenal charity Glasgow Women's Aid who help to protect and support families plagued by domestic violence.
We ask that you please share this message far and wide and donate whatever you can afford to Glasgow Women's Aid so that they can fund their vital work and provide resources for women in desperate need.
Thank you in advance for all of your support and any donations, and we hope you stay safe during this difficult time.
