Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page- any donations will be massively appreciated by 2 amazing charities.
On the 20/10 @10am Chester RUFC and finished some 32 hours later in Abersoch at 7pm. The whole 30 hours was almost spent running through some of the worst rain we have had over the last couple of years but with all my supports runners and vehicles we got to the finish line having navigated an extra 10 miles to avoid floods and the coastal path being blocked in places. The constant support and messages and donations flying in really helped to keep me going especially nearing the end when struggling quite badly with my right foot/leg. Anyway now the dust has settled and i have managed to keep all my toes in the aftermath it would be great to raise a few more pounds over the coming weeks before these pages close.

The first charity I have chosen to raise money for is the My Name'5 Doddie Fdn. I have supported the My Name'5 Doddie Fdn for a few years now, and along with thousands of others, have been inspired by Doddie himself when falling in love with the game of Rugby. And then more recently by Kevin Sinfield and the support he has given to his great mate Rob Burrow, who is tackling this awful disease and more recently Ed Slater had been struck by this horrendous disease. Both codes of Rugby, and many other walks of life, have been rocked by MND and the more support we can offer the better.
Christies (The Christie Charity) is the second charity I have chosen to support, as it is very rare to not know someone who hasn't received care or help from the Christie. As a family we have seen this first hand. The Christie Charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Gifts from the public make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to patients and their families.
