We fund research and provide support to anyone affected by breast cancer.

Story

Welcome to our page. GSTT BRAs ( Breast Reconstruction athletes) is a group of breast reconstruction plastic surgeons from Guys and St Thomas' Hospital.

This March we're running 100km each (1000km in total) to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

The group includes Vasiliki, Maleeha, Katie, Pari, Rosie, Helen, Marlene, Asmat, Paul and Ben. We are doing this run for our patients, for family members and friends that have been affected by Breast Cancer. In memory of those who are not here and a tribute to those who have fought this disease.

Most of us are non-runners and have never taken up running before so for most its a personal challenge too ! The joints may hurt and muscles may spasm but we are definitely going to do it ! Look out for our photo posts .. some of the nonpainful ones might even be funny !!

Your contribution will make a huge impact whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

This challenge is about getting as many people as possible active and involved in raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and care.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
