Story

Macario, Matthias, Ignacio, Keegan, Kynan and Love will be running the London Marathon on 02-Oct representing the GS TMT EMEA team.

The team is doing this run in support of Street Child which has a mission of ensuring all children are safe, in school and learning.

Any support for this charity will be enormously appreciated.

"Street Child works with an expanding network of local organisations and a focus on the power and purpose of inspirational local level organisations sits at the heart of all we do – and has done so since our first partnership in Sierra Leone in 2008. We work in close collaboration with leading agencies, leveraging our experience and expertise to issue global guidance on working with local level organisations.

As experts in education, economic empowerment, and protection programming, our interventions are integrated to confront challenges, assuring safety as we afford access to schooling. By coupling instantaneous change for children with an increase in the capacities of caregivers, communities and schools we support children to be safe, in school and learning in the long term.

Having started in Sierra Leone, we have expanded to 20 countries, including an emergency response in Europe. Countries include Sierra Leone, Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda, Liberia, Nigeria, Mozambique, DRC, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Pakistan, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Burundi, Nepal, Bangladesh and Ukraine."
