Story
Forget Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, at Team Cirencester we’re getting ready to tackle our own Three Peaks Challenge – the hills of Crickley, Leckhampton and Cleeve.
On the 23rd May, we’ll be lacing up our walking shoes to walk 25km along the famous Cotswold Way, picking up part of the Cotswolds escarpment and finishing on the legendary Cleeve Hill – the iconic backdrop of the Cheltenham Races. It’s 8 hours of beautiful countryside, epic views, and three pretty massive hills.
We’re proud to clock up the miles in aid of Lia’s Wings, a charity that provides life-saving air transfer services for babies and children, getting them to hospital when a transfer by NHS road ambulance or rotary air ambulance isn’t possible. Their air ambulance service has helped critically ill children access the essential care and treatment they need, wherever they are in the UK, and increasingly, abroad.
As Golley Slater’s Charity of the Year for 2024, we are determined to reach our target of £2,000 to raise much-needed funds for this incredible charity.
Please support our team as we tackle our very own Three Peaks Challenge!
