One For The Road, has been set up in memory of Charlotte Hobbs, wife, mother, daughter & friend to many. Our aim is to support research into brain tumours so that other families don't have to go through the heartache that we have had to go through.

Story

Charlotte was an inspiration. Wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, her vivacious, bubbly and kind personality meant she was loved by so many. In memory of Charlotte, 'One For The Road', has been set up to raise much needed awareness of brain tumours and financial aid for Brain Tumour Research. Charlotte showed incredible courage and determination whilst fighting this cruel disease, but always had her beautiful, infectious smile on her face. We have chosen to fundraise in Charlotte's name as she did through so many charitable feats.

Myself, my son Ben, his friend Joe and mum, Kate, hope to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks in August. Although we hope to do this in 12 hours it will still be a challenge just to complete them one after the other.

This charity is one that is close to my heart. Not least having lost beautiful Charlotte but sadly Ben lost his grandad, a few years ago, to this cruel disease.

Please support us in this challenge as you are able to.#1FTR

Thank you xxas

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
