Story

Hi Everyone,

Firstly thanks for visiting our fundraising page!

We are taking part in Ride For Precious Lives 2025 (RFPL) for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW)

Riding from St Austell to Bristol, we’ll cycle through challenging but breath-taking scenery. Starting at the children’s hospice Little Harbour near St Austell, then visiting Little Bridge House near Barnstaple on day 2, and finishing at Charlton Farm near Bristol on Sunday.

We have decided to undertake this challenge as Team Goose. Goose is the nickname of a very special Little Girl called Ophelia.

Ophelia has an ultra rare life limiting condition called RNF13, and suffers from various heath complications including severe epilepsy, breathing difficulties, scoliosis and CVI.

CHSW provides hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West. The care they offer is wide ranging; hospice breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care.

Ophelia and her family have been able to receive respite care from CHSW, specifically Little Harbour near St Austell. The time spent here is truly priceless and a place to create memories that may otherwise be impossible.

Please help us show support to CHSW by donating to our page!

Thank you.
