In July 2024, I am taking on a Mighty 26 mile Hike through the Peak District to raise vital funds for people living with cancer.

Back in October 2023, my Grandma was diagnosed with a brain tumour. This has been a difficult process for all of us, especially my Grandma as she is an independent lady so trying to do the ordinary daily things she used to do has become impossible for her to do alone, without carers. Macmillan have been brilliant and are always on hand to help with her care and she now has a hospital type bed that has been funded by Macmillan so she can sit up/recline when she needs. She is now able to have carers 4 times a day to be able to give her food and her medication. None of this would’ve been possible without Macmillan.

I have pledged to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. By fundraising my pledge, I could pay for a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer. .
