10th Annual Walk to END EPILEPSY
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16 @ 9 AM - EISENHOWER PARK, PARKING FIELD 1
Dear family & friends: I’ll be serving as the Grand Marshall at this years Epilepsy Walk. Most of you know how important this cause is to me. I‘ve had generalized refractory epilepsy for 15 years now & dream of the day I can be seizure free & enjoy life without the worry of having seizures & the many side effects of all the medicines I take. Please support me in finding a cure by joining me in the walk and/or making a donation to my team. This year I’ll be dedicating my walk to Dana Wade, a special young lady I’m lucky to have known that left us much too soon due to epilepsy (SUDEP). Please say a prayer for Dana’s family and walk with me so we can beat this!
For more than 65 years, the Epilepsy Foundation Long Island has been the premier resource for advocacy, support, information and referral, and outreach for children, adults, and families living with epilepsy as well as offering education and training to the broader community.
Each year, we look forward to our Walk to END EPILEPSY, which brings together our many friends and supporters, including board members, staff, people who access our services, sponsors, and donors. We walk to raise epilepsy awareness, to take action, and to raise funds for the education programs and outreach services of the Epilepsy Foundation Long Island.
