Story
When George was 10 days old he became quite sleepy, we took him to a&e at addenbrookes after becoming worried he wasnt interested in waking for feeds. Quite quickly our world was turned upside down as George was rushed to resuss and a cash call was put out to get every avalible Doctor to George. He was placed in an induced coma and addmitted to PICU. After 5 hours we were told to go home and get clothes, the childrens acute transport service (CATS) we’re coming to collect us and take us to Great Ormond Street via blue lights. 24 hours after arriving at GOSH George underwent major open heart surgery after a Dr had failed to diagnose a servere heart problem during pregnancy. One doctor made a huge mistake that almost cost us our little boy, but the efforts of the PICU team at addenbrookes, CATS and GOSH meant that george pulled through the biggest fight of his life and we are very thankful to still have our little man. We want to raise funds on behalf of our little warrior to say thankyou for everything that was done for George 💙
