Story

Gemma Caffrey died, aged 12, in the Great North Children's Hospital in Newcastle. She had been on holiday to one of her favourite places, Haggerston Castle. Gemma had a headache on and off for the preceding two weeks and we thought it was a migraine. Unfortunately Gemma had a Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis and bleeding on the brain and sadly lost her life after two weeks in hospital.

We would love you to do this with us in January to raise funds for this amazing charity, all we need to do is walk, jog or run 26.2 during the month of January. We will be meeting up with friends and family to walk or jog during January to talk about Gemma and her amazing but very short life. If you would like to walk with us just let me know. It's good to walk and even better to talk and share our memories of Gemma.
