The coronavirus outbreak means that more older people need our services and they need them more desperately.

Right now in excess of 200,000 older people in Birmingham and Sandwell are affected by the self-isolation measures the Government has advised. They are frightened of the health risks associated with the virus. They are scared that they wont get enough food from the shops.

We can never allow a single elderly person to go hungry during this crisis - thats something we can call agree on. So, at Age UK Birmingham and Age UK Sandwell we are determined to be there for older people who need our help, and especially those with no-one else to turn to. We are providing a really vital lifeline, but we desperately need your help too.
