Dave (Ginge)and Tracy have undertaken to walk a marathon during September for the brilliant charity. So welcome to team G & T. As a lot of you know I was diagnosed with Melanoma skin cancer in October, the cancer had quickly spread to my lymph nodes resulting in an operation to remove a large part of my thigh and 13 lymph nodes at Southmead Hospital. After this time i was looked after by the Cancer unit at the RUH whilst undergoing Immunotherapy treatment, physio and lymphodema treatment. The whole team have been absolutely brilliant. This included the cancer support team lead by Tracy who have provided information, moral support, physio and lymphodema support plus ice creams during the hot weather.
