Story
We're raising money to support Centrepoint's Emergency Coronavirus Appeal. During these challenging and unsettling times, vulnerable young people need our support more than ever. Centrepoint's immediate priority is the safety and well-being of the young people they work with and to keep their services open.
Even without a global pandemic to deal with, Centrepoint estimates that 110,000 young people in the UK are facing homelessness and there may now be many more as a result of the current situation. That's why we are asking you to join Centrepoint’s #MoveinMay challenge to complete 110,000 steps across the month of May and raise vital funds for their Emergency Coronavirus Appeal.
They are continuing to support young people through their free helpline for 16-25 year olds who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, through their housing and support services to deliver practical and emotional support to over a thousand young people living in Centrepoint services across the country and ensuring access to food and other essentials, and through their health and well-being service which includes psychotherapy, substance use, mental health advice and dietetics and healthy relationships advice.
Please donate whatever you can to ensure Centrepoint can continue providing these services to vulnerable young people during this unprecedented time. Thank you.
