We want to raise awareness to the most difficult cancer to diagnose and also the most difficult to beat. The survival rate for pancreatic cancer has not improved in the last 45 years and more than half of the people diagnosed, die within 3 months.

Every day in the UK, 24 people die from pancreatic cancer, and only 7% will eventually survive 5 years or beyond.

Our colleague, Charles Czajkowski is a pancreatic cancer patient, a survivor of six years – making him one of a very lucky few to be diagnosed with this disease to still be with us even a few months later. He is a living example of what happens when the response to this terrible disease is done well.
