Story
Frank was an incredibly loving husband, father and grandfather, with a towering intellect, and a man of great warmth, humour and kindness. As a proud teacher, at several schools, he was passionate about education and most notably became the first headmaster of Woodhey High School from 1979 to 1999. He also served as a JP for Salford for 25 years and he was chairman of the Salford Magistrates’ Court Schools Project.
Frank sadly passed away after a long fought battle with Sepsis, but in a testament to the many lives he changed for the better and the positive impact he had on his community, we have had so many messages of condolences, from friends and from whom he worked with or taught.
We, his family, would like to support two brilliant charities in his memory, SHINE and the UK Sepsis Trust and any donations would be gratefully received.
SHINE-“We want all children across the Northern Powerhouse to achieve the best possible qualifications so they can leave school with real choices for their future”
UK Sepsis Trust-“exists to fight this life threatening condition, stop preventable deaths and support those affected by sepsis”.
