Story

Hello, Fran here, we have decided to throw ourselves (literally) into this challenge on my birthday 🥳 ( it was a sign) by taking part in the Abseil challenge 2024. My amazing boyfriend Buzz is joining me to support St Luke's Hospice, who cared for my brother Ross last year.

I have never done anything like this before and I don't like heights, so this will be a huge challenge for me, but totally worth it.

I have always been extremely proud to work for St Luke’s and have done so for just over 13 years, but have never had first hand experience of the awesomeness of this special place.

Ross spent the last few weeks of his life supported, cared for and comfy, by the Doctors and Nurses, the Hospitality Team and volunteers. They are all heroes in my families eyes and made Ross’ journey a positive one, something which was very important to him.

Any amount you can spare to sponsor us will help St Luke's in their mission to deliver the best possible care to the people of Sheffield who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. They really take the stress away and provide a warm hug when you need it most.

Thank you

Fran and Buzz
