We are fundraising for the children’s wards of Kings College Hospital in honour of our beautiful angel Evie Dove. Devastatingly Evie passed away in March 2022, after a year long battle, during which time she continually inspired us with her humour, bravery, positivity and gratitude for the support and love she had around her.

Matt & Simon started out on this mission last year, both taking on long distance challenges, with the initial aim of raising £10k. However it quickly became clear that many of our Holiday Extras (HX) colleagues and friends also wanted to support and show their love for Evie, Edward, Katie & Howard. Since then we have walked, run, cycled, swam, raffled, quizzed, custarded and comedied our way to £51k (including gift aid, and other contributions outside of our Just Giving page), over halfway towards our new ambitious target of £100k.

As well as now starting to spend the money on new wheelchairs and new parents facilities on the children's ward, we are taking the next steps towards our target, with a team of 50 people planning to take part in the Great Hospital Hike on 17th September.

We are determined to do Evie proud, to let Katie, Howard and Edward know how much we love them, and to do everything we can for other families who are unfortunate enough to need the support of the wonderful Kings College Hospital.
