Story

We are raising money for Brain Tumour Research for our beautiful and brave friend Jen.

Jen is 40 years old, wife to Olly and mummy to 5 year old Mollie and to Grace who is almost 2.

Back in 2022 when Jen was pregnant with Grace, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Grace was delivered early and in the coming weeks/months, Jennifer underwent surgery and chemotherapy. All seemed as well as could be until around 7 months into her treatment she became unwell.

Treatment for the breast cancer was halted when Jen was given the devastating diagnosis of a brain tumour and since then has had multiple scans, intense radiotherapy and 3 major brain surgeries, which have lead to the loss of her Peripheral vision.

Devastatingly, Jen has now been told that the Brain tumour (Glioblastoma) is aggressive and is growing rapidly. It has spread to parts of her spine and there are no further treatments available to her.

As her friends, we want to support Jen and raise money to help fund the fight against brain tumours. In the month of November, we will be taking part in '99 miles in November' for Brain Tumour Research.

All donations will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Lou, Jen, Lauren and Vicki

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
