Story
Our mission is to raise money in honour and remembrance of our beautiful Bethany Amber Price ❤️🌈
Please take the time to read this to the end, and if ypu would like to take part in any of these evemts with us, just send a message to anyone in the team 😘
This year, we aim to raise £10,000, to pay to run Claire House children’s hospice for a day on June 14th, which would have been our Beth’s 24th birthday.
Claire House is a Charity that helps children and families every day, by making lives easier, creating positive memories during extremely difficult times. We know that this resonated deeply with Beth and she would love that we are reaching out a helping hand.
This is how her next journey begins, this is her legacy, she will carry on helping those in need, her passion to make the world a better place is now ours, in her name.
Our first step to raise these vital funds will be a sponsored Wing Walk on May 26th 😱 😳
This is something Bethany had talked about doing herself a few years ago. As an RAF air cadet she took the controls of and actually flew a Vigilant glider over Liverpool, a very special time in her life and something she was very proud of. ✈️🌈❤️
The second event to raising these funds will be Climbing Mount Snowden at NIGHT! Trekking Mt Snowdon (1,085m) during the daytime forms a great challenge, but by using torches to light our way and having the moon as our backdrop, summiting at night brings another sense of achievement to an already recognised challenge. This challenge will take place on June 15th, the day after Beths 24th Birthday, and we will celebrate our achievements when we have decended raising a glass of fizz to Beth 🥂🌈💕Seeing the sunrise across Snowdonia National Park will be a memory never forgotten, just as Bethany will never be forgotten🌈❤️
On June 1st there will be a cabaret show celebrating Bethany and our progress so far. Beth was part of our Tiger Lily dance family and sang at our very first show. It will be a night of fun, laughter, tears and joy as we affirm her belief that everyone deserves to love themselves for who they are and how they look. She was fierce in her support of individuality and always unapologetically herself, something our performers are proud to own.
Bethany was a bright, funny, kind, loving, beautiful person, who believed that everyone should have equal rights and respect. She cared about people’s wellbeing with every fibre of her being and she brought sunshine, rainbows, smiles and happiness to the lives of so many people.
Even people who only knew her for moments have lasting memories of something she did or said that gave them joy or peace.
We are truly blessed to have had her in our lives and she will be missed beyond measure, but she had so much love to give that we must keep her in her hearts by continuing to share that love and joy that will be with us always
So please, if you are able to, donate what you can to help Claire House and make this a special day in honour of Beth.
Our Beth deserves the best; she was the best of us all.
Our hearts are broken as your life was too short, but we thank you sweet angel for the happiness you brought.
You will always be in our hearts, now and forever.
Thank you ❤️🌈
Bethany’s precious life was lost on October 25th 2023, she was 23 years of age.
She had the most severe asthma attack her consultant had ever seen.
There was nothing that could have saved her, everything possible was done, everything had been in place, in the doctors words, “She was just extremely unlucky”
It was triggered by a viral infection.
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory condition of the airways which can result in coughing, wheezing, chest tightness and shortness of breath. Symptoms can be triggered by various factors including exercise, allergies, smoke and pollution, and viral infections.
Asthma attacks kill three people in the UK each day and every
10 seconds someone has a potentially life threatening asthma attack. However, many of these severe attacks and deaths could be avoided by taking simple measures to improve care.
Please take asthma seriously and share this awareness.
Seek medical guidance if you’re unwell or unsure about your condition. Take medication prescribed even when you don’t feel you need it, it is protecting you.
Even if your asthma appears mild or hasn’t bothered you in a while, a trigger can have life threatening consequences, don’t let it take another life if it can be prevented.
