Story
In addition to our fundraising efforts for the people of Ukraine and Syria, we are committed to supporting Action Medical Research, as they fight to defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children and young people in the UK. Please help us keep the pennies coming in.
At Action Medical Research they are determined to stop the suffering of babies and children caused by disease and disability. By supporting us, you are helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.
Teams of four are taking part in this tough dawn to dusk event. We will cycle 55 miles around the winding lanes of the Brecons, navigate a 2-mile canoe course on Lake Llangorse, and finally summit Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons with an altitude of 886m, to raise money for this incredible cause.
Our team of four women - the Flying Squirrels - will be pushing as hard as we can to get to the end of the race before the sun goes down. Knowing you're supporting our race will help so much.
With your help, we're determined to make a real difference to children's lives.
We'll keep you updated with our progress as we learn new skills and get our courage up. Thank you for reading this far and please help us keep pushing, by donating now.
Thank you!
