Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This November, we shall be taking part in 100 Skips A Day to raise money for Dementia UK.

Dementia UK is a charity that provides Admiral Nurses for families affected by dementia. With the support of Dementia UK, families facing dementia know they’re not alone.

Your support will go towards funding pioneering dementia research that will bring them closer to a cure. With your help, they will keep going until every person is free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.

There are currently estimated to be 982,000 people with dementia in the UK. This number is expected to rise to 1.4 million by 2040.

It can be a very lonely isolating journey, every donation helps towards ensuring each person diagnosed, or on their way to being diagnosed has the support and care they need.

For the families around those diagnosed, the support and resource that Dementia UK provide are invaluable.

Thanks in advance,

Alex & Abi
