We are the Farmworker Unit of Legal Aid of NC. Our team of attorneys and staff provides civil legal services to migrant farmworkers across the state. Farmworkers work hard and play a critical role in the fresh food on our tables and in our food economy. We work to protect and enforce their employment and civil rights and represent farmworkers in issues around their safety, fair treatment, wage theft, and working conditions.

Our clients inspire us to do our work to the best of our ability and we honor their courage to speak up about their experiences.
