I'm walking through the centre of Bristol at night for St Peter's Hospice. At this sponsored walk, every step makes a difference for future patients and families through the most difficult time, day and night.

As I walk through the night, St Peter's nurses and team are supporting patients and answering calls through our 24 hour advice line to make sure that everyone gets the support they need even in the middle of the night. Just £27.50 will pay for an hour of a nurse's time.

St Peter's Hospice are the adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Their commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of St Peters care is provided free of charge, but it costs around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
