Crossing Over Water is a challenge event for all abilities. The aim of this challenge is to find a method of crossing water (swimming, crossing bridges, etc.) to stand in solidarity with the difficult journeys made by refugees and asylum seekers.

Story

On Saturday 24th September The EU in Brum team are walking a section of the Birmingham Canal network. We’ll be Crossing Over Water via the many bridges and lock gates on the way. We want to stand in solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers who have had to make difficult and perilous journeys across water. This is raising money for Freedom from Torture, who support survivors of torture and campaign for change.

If you would like to join in please email us at hello@euinbrum.org and we will send you details of the meet point, time, and route.
