After neck-down paralysis, Steven Dowd was offered hope by a Wings for Life funded experimental clinical research trial and began an unlikely paralysis-recovery journey. Today he is bringing together a diverse global commuinty to do something both challenging and impactful through indoor-rowing.

Wings for Life is a not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation. Their mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injury. They fund world-class scientific research and clinical trials around the globe aimed at healing the injured spinal cord.
