Asalamu Aleykum, we are EMYUK (Eritrean Muslim Youth UK) and are calling out to you all to help us fundraise for Ethar Relief!

This year many of us have lost our loved ones, so we will honour them by fundraising in their name.

This year we have decided to work with Ethar Relief with 70% of the funds going towards an educational sadaqa jariyah project and 30% towards essential food packs.

We can do this again, and more! Let’s work for our brothers and sisters that need us most.

This year, all of us have felt the impact of lockdown and disrupted education. However, in Eastern Sudan, over 10,000 refugees do not have access to an education at all. Education is key to brighter futures for refugee children – and for all of us.

We will also use 30% of the funds to go towards feeding the most needy. You can feed 1 person for a month for just £7 or a whole family for £50!

Ethar Relief aids refugees in the refugee camps of Sudan, Djibouti and Yemen and is one of the very few organisations providing aid to Eritrean refugees. Most of the refugees in these camps have been forgotten, let’s remember them and ensure they get the aid they need.
