Story
On the 14th of March this year, I am doing a skydive to raise money for two charities I care very passionately about in memory of my brave mum.
The two charities I have decided to raise the money for have helped me and my family during the grief of my mum.
Credu carers service supports carers of all ages. Every carer’s story is different, this is what makes supporting us so difficult. Everyone at Credu strives to provide person centred support that helps the carers by allowing us to know that there is life outside of caring. We are able to go on trips, attend clubs, advocate for our rights and raise awareness of carers and our individual needs. These amazing opportunities allow us to meet carers of all ages to experience peer support in our caring communities.
Cancer Research Wales is a charity that strives to find a cure to cancer. This is something we all want to see happen as 1 in 2 of us will get cancer at some point in our lives. By raising money for this charity we can prevent more people like my mum from dying because of this horrible disease.
As I’m sure you can appreciate, these charities need as much funding as possible as none of these goals come cheaply.
I also hope to raise as equal funds as possible for these two charities as their missions mean a lot to me.
Thank you ever so much for reading my story.
Please give what you can to support me with my skydive.
