We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Dementia is something that will at some point in everyone's lives affect us all. With over 850,000 people currently living with the disease we will encounter it, be it with our family, neighbours or people we come into contact with at work. This is why we have chosen to support Alzheimer's Society as Cadent's chosen charity. Since 2017 Cadent have raised over £177,000 and we are looking to add to this by tandem skydiving from 10,000 in 2020.

The money that we raise will not only be matched by Cadent, but it will also go towards their partnership goals of raising £200,00 before June 2020. This money will fund Tier 1 Dementia Advisors who will help support people after they receive a diagnosis, and it will pug the funding gap across 3 of the regions where we operate for the 'Side by Side' volunteer befriending service that Alzheimer's Society deliver.

Your donations really make a difference to our efforts and to the lives of people living with dementia. Please be generous and wish us luck!

UPDATED: Due to COVID-19 and weather conditions we both have had to reschedule the skydive for a later date, in which we estimate will be Saturday 13th July, if all goes well. We are devastated we haven’t yet been able to complete the jump yet however, we are edging closer to being able to do so!!

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
