Louise and I are running the Great North Run on the 11th of September for the Great North Air Ambulance Charity. On average, it costs £4,478 per flight and with nearly 2000 call outs a year, the charity always needs more support.

With the nearest hospital being around an hour away from where we live, the air ambulance is crucial in getting people to the hospital quickly. We have both got people close to us who have unfortunately had to use the air ambulance, but if this charity wasn’t there they may not have had the lucky outcomes they have had.
