Do something positive about the news. For 6 weeks, from January 5th until the end of February, take on our virtual challenge to get active in support of The Economist Educational Foundation.

Story

Over the course of two weeks the Economist Films team will be cycling, running, walking and skating the combined equivalent distance from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise money for The Economist Educational Foundation.

2020 was a year of terrible news. We're starting the new year by doing something positive about the news, by raising money for The Economist Educational Foundation.

Your donations will help to give the next generation the skills to understand the issues shaping their world, and discuss them constructively, so that they can make it better.

UPDATE: Despite the freezing weather and snow, the team completed the challenge a day early with a massive 185 activities. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
