Update 27 July - Well its only 4 days until our challenge ends…how the time has flown by…Adding up all the miles so far (since 8 June 2020 to 23 July), we have actually covered over 1,000 miles and raised £2,315

This has been down to the very generous donations from all family, friends and colleagues – a wholly hearted THANK YOU AGAIN to everyone who has donated so far.

Update 9 July - A huge thanks to everyone who has donated so far!!! A massive £2,050 which will make such a difference in helping Maggies deliver the vital support!

Ruth Rothnie, Carol Sadler, Karen Robb and Gill Gilchrist will be taking to the streets of Aberdeen and the Shire to walk/run the distance between all Maggies Centres in Scotland (and more) in memory of Gina Conn.

Gina was a funny, beautiful Power House who lost her brave battle with Breast cancer on the 25th May this year.

She was a loyal, honest and fantastic friend who touched many hearts.

Gina was a loving partner, mother, daughter, sister and Nana and her passing will leave a hole in many people’s lives.

During her fight she turned to Maggie’s who supplied her with support in various ways and they were very close to her heart.

It is fitting that we remember our precious Gina by raising some much needed funds, so that the important work that they do can go on to help many others.

Maggie’s offers free cancer support to patients and their families and friends throughout the UK (check out their amazing website for full details).

Four colleagues of Gina will take part in Miles for Maggie’s by doing 12,000 steps walking or running from 8th June until 31st July. The total will be 288 miles (the distance between all Maggie’s centres in Scotland.

We hope that you will show your appreciation and help us raise some funds.

DIG DEEP EVERYONE!!!!
