raised of £5,000 target
Join us and the millions of people across Canada and the world celebrate Canada's hero, Terry Fox, while raising money for cancer research in the UK. This October, walk, run or cycle in your local area or run with us in London's Battersea Park.

Story

Our team at Duke Royalty wanted to do something to give back to the community in 2021. This cause, and this event, is a perfect mix of a Canadian hero and a world-class UK charity. Our employees want to recognize all the family and friends we have that are affected by this disease, and dedicate our run to those we have lost. Please support Team Duke Royalty as we raise money for the ICR as well as help organize the Terry Fox Run UK.

At 18 years of age, Terry Fox learned that due to bone cancer his right leg would be amputated above the knee. During his ordeal, Terry became convinced that a cure for cancer could be found through cancer research, but funds were in short supply.
Four decades on, Terry's 'Marathon of Hope' continues to raise funds for cancer research through the charity founded by Terry's family. To date the Terry Fox Foundation has raised over £500 million to support cancer research. Here in the UK, the Terry Fox Run supports The Institute of Cancer Research, London which is one of the world's leading cancer research institutes.
