We are a team of 8 paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) running the Great Birmingham Run Half Marathon in our full incident response uniform and equipment.

This will be a huge challenge for us to carry all our equipment in uniform over 13.1 miles. We want to raise money for two charities which D team have personal connections with.

The Ambulance Staff Charity - (TASC) who help assist frontline ambulance staff with anything from mental health support and counselling.

Together for Short Lives - this incredible charity provides support to very poorly, often palliative children and their families.
