Story
To help support Childline this year Phoenix FM's Drivetime presenter is challenging himself and others to “go the distance” by “doing 35” for NSPCC Childline.
If you could spare some change to help towards fundraising then great, thank you! But we're also asking for people to join in the challenge and do their own fundraising by “going the distance” too.
Like Stewart, you could cycle 35 miles or you could walk 35 miles, run 35 metres, drive 35 kilometres, climb 35 flights of stairs or do 35 star jumps. Whatever you choose to do, use the number 35 as your inspiration and get sponsered!
NSPCC Childline is there to give young people a voice when no one else is listening and whatever problems or dangers they’re facing, Childline provides a place for them to turn to for support any time of day or night. It costs £30,000 a day to keep Childline running so to ensure it can be there today, tomorrow and for future generations, NSPCC needs your support.
Every 25 seconds a vulnerable child calls Childline. Childline will celebrate it’s 35th birthday on 30th October! That’s 35 years of being a phone call away for vulnerable children when they need it most. Let’s celebrate Childline by making sure there’s always someone to answer the call when a child needs it most.
