Story

Every October spurs many on to show their support for breast cancer awareness and this year Galway sea swimmer, Louise Griffin had an idea to support breast cancer research while pursuing her passion - Swim in Pink! This event is a great chance to get together and Swim, Dip or Splash with friends and family at a beach, lake or river near you and help pasraise funds to support the National Breast CancerResearch Institute, a national charity that funds a comprehensive research programme at the Lambe Institute, National University of Galway.

In support and solidarity of all Irish women past and present touched by a breast cancer diagnosis the merfolk of Doolin Swimmers will wear pink, splash and swim in the balmy Wild Atlantic , the Old Pier, Doolin , Co. Clare for this amazing charity on the 31st October 2021. Join us for a fun swim and a hot drop and treats or donate a spare € here on this page, all gestures greatly appreciated. Swim time will be confirmed.
