Story

Our good friends Sarah and Darren Have a beautiful daughter called Poppy who is fab , inspiring and often makes us laugh.Unfortunately Poppy was born with Cystic Fibrosis.

We are a couple of builders from Sussex who regularly run together and often work with Poppys Dad Darren. It was over a mug of tea one morning that he explained the phenomenal cost of Cystic Fibrosis research and subsequent treatment . He went on to explain the day to day implications for Poppy living with the disease and the never ending need for more research funding.

We decided we had to do something , so we put down our mugs of lukewarm tea and resolved to take a swing at this horrible disease with whatever sledgehammer we had to hand. That sledgehammer turned out to be the London Marathon. We are asking you to join forces with us and lets all swing that sledgehammer just a little bit harder.

We know times are tough for all at the moment but please just donate what you can. It would help us two middle aged men struggle round the 26.2 miles and we would be eternally grateful. Help us to help Poppy and the thousands like her by raising as much as we can.

Huge thanks to you all.

Dom and Matt xx
